Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie or leftover)
  • 3 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 9 no-boil lasagna noodles (or regular noodles, cooked al dente)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 ½ cups fresh spinach, roughly chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Shred the pre-cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces. Rinse and roughly chop fresh spinach if using. Grate mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses to have ready for layering.
  2. Mix the Alfredo Sauce: In a bowl, combine Alfredo sauce with minced garlic, chopped parsley, and black pepper. Stir well to evenly blend all the flavors.
  3. Assemble the Layers: Spread a thin layer of the Alfredo sauce mixture on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange a single row of no-boil lasagna noodles over the sauce. Add a portion of shredded chicken, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, and scatter a handful of spinach if desired. Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a generous cheese topping.
  4. Bake to Perfection: Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to brown and bubble the cheese on top.
  5. Let it Rest and Serve: Allow the lasagna to rest for 10 minutes after baking to help the layers set and make cutting and serving easier.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken to save time and add flavor.
  • Resting the lasagna after baking helps it hold together when sliced.
  • Cover with foil while baking to prevent cheese from burning and retain moisture.
  • Mix mozzarella and Parmesan cheese for perfect gooeyness and rich flavor.
  • If using regular noodles, cook them al dente to avoid mushiness during baking.
